CFH-GAG-A. Frank Stevens MALTBY, b. Feb. 16, 1873 (Geo.B.6, Seth M.5, Isaac 4, Benj.3, Dan.2, Wm.1). Born at Rochester, N.Y.; d. July 20, 1900, Albuquerque, New Mexico, unmarried. He was a student at John Hopkins Medical College, Baltimore. Accompanied Prof. Clarence L. Herrick and son on an exploring expedition to Old Mexico. They went down the West Coast to "Guaymas," then by steamer south to San Blas. Explored the Tres Marias Islands for a month, then 85 miles from the coast of Mexico, for some three months, studying flora and fauna.
